I have this thought stirring around in my head, and i'd LOVE to hear what you all think about it.
I am really wanting to do something special for all of the High School Seniors that come to SDP for their senior pics. My thought is to have a concert and/or fashion show featuring the seniors!!
The fashion show would have ONLY the seniors that had their images done at SDP, and would wear clothing from a couple of local retailers, have their hair & make-up done by our very own Bobbie Riggs (and probably some of her assistants LOL), i also want to find one or MAYBE two business' who would like to donate and get some great exposure with food, either just snacks and/or dessert! I would of course do some images, but i would also hand pick some others to do images as i would probably be the announcer, we'd have a D.J. and maybe a theme. I think i want to have part of the proceeds go towards the St. Helens Fireworks show since that helps our community as a whole.
I am also thinking of possibly having a little concert right before the fashion show. Just 3 or 4 songs, to lighten the mood, get people relaxed and mingling type thing. I'm not sure of the band yet this whole thing is just in the thought process. I'm thinking tickets would only be like around $10 per person or something...i would just depend on many factors on how much the tickets would be.
But does this sound like something you would be interested in going to? That's the BIGGEST thing i need to know. Please vote and if you have any thoughts or suggestions or would like to be a sponsor let me know that as well!! I believe this will have a GREAT turn out if it's done properly :)
